Who is your boss ?
I don't mean for you to go in all literal sense and say dude what boss? Will you just let me pass my school maybe ? haha.
Metaphorically speaking, who is it that controls your actions ? It is you ? Or is it the society ?
And You'ld be lying if you say it's you.
Society, this materialistic world has gotta have influence on you in some way or other. And i believe, yeah to an extent its acceptable and required. Because if you don't? Its when people start calling you self - absorbed. :P
After observing , actually because its too prominent i couldn't help not miss how people around us instead of being the puppet master are the puppet. :o
Because all your life you've been trying to impress people in some way or other, you've cost your self yourownfreakingself ?
I doubt, if even one of us realises that.
Do you know how many cuts did you make into your personality ? So that you're perfect enough to satisfy the materialistic society, who doesn't even care ? Think about it.
Life as we know it is such a race, and each one of us is trying to catch up and fit in? In between all this hustle, we dont exactly get the time to realise that what we just did was the reaction we personally wanted to do or so that the person next to us does not think low of us is why we did that.
I fear that day though when we realise and see how this society which apparently is supposed to be very bonafide, helping people exchange knowledge making world a better place, turns out to be the reason for extinction of uniqueness and independence of ones action. Would be a pretty hilarious day though. How a noun grew over humans. LOL.
Anyways!
It's complicated we say.
But is it really ?
Next time, do one thing ?
For a moment, just forget about impressing the society, ask yourself what is it that you want. For once think and choose what your heart and mind together says its right. I bet that'll be the correct and the best decision you've ever made. And oh yeah the joy and proudness that comes along? Are complimentary. ;)
You most definitely don't need any other head than yours to decide what you want how you want and why you want ? Cheers!
